Rick Field is the man who spawned a renewed interest in pickles and pickling with Rick's Picks, which he launched following a career as a television producer for legendary public radio journalist Bill Moyers.
Field uses a hot bath method for his pickled products, so he didn't flinch when put under the boiling-hot pressure of the 60-Second Stir-Fry's lightning round. However, I detected a hint of vinegar-scented sweat when I asked him to choose between Moyers and WNYC's own host Brian Lehrer.
