Our Last Chance Foods guest this week, Tama Matsuoka Wong, forages and eats stinging nettle, so we knew she wouldn't break a sweat when confronted with the Stir Fry's lightning round of tough-as-overgrown-knotweed questions.
Her favorite place to forage is her backyard, but she lives in bucolic Hunterdon County, New Jersey. New Yorkers -- whose backyards, if they have them, are often too shady to support anything other than moss, or are covered over in concrete -- will have to go elsewhere for sun-loving weeds. Matsuoka Wong was hot for garlic mustard, which she predicts will be the Next Big Thing in trendy kitchens.
